PD Instruments/Spot Testers
IPEC developed online PD spot testing tools, which range from simple handheld devices that detect PD to data collection, saving, location, and synchronization. IPEC offers a range of online PD instruments, including PD-SGS (Online Partial Discharge Spot Tester), PD Detector (Online Partial Discharge Detector with Data Synchronization), and PD-SG1 (Portable Switchgear Partial Discharge Testing and Location). All these devices have a PRPD function that helps to differentiate PD from noise. They are also compatible with TEV, HFCT, and UHF sensors and can be used for spot testing in switchgear, cables, transformers, and electrical assets.
